The Anglin Lake Recreation Site in Great Blue Heron Provincial Park is just 30km from the Waskesiu Townsite and 70km north of Prince Albert. It has three campgrounds and borders the Prince Albert National Park, making a large protected area that is great for wildlife watching and outdoor recreation all year.

The Anderson Point Campground is open year-round and has both electrified and non-electrified sites. Enjoy the beautiful beaches, playground, mini service centre facility, portable water system and boat launch. Anglin Lake is made up of man-made channels which connect smaller lakes, so there are many bays and islands that are perfect for angling. If your fishing expedition is successful, look for the fish-filleting station and grill up a seriously tasty lunch. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the calls of the many loons and enjoy the great variety of wildlife that life in the area.

The Anglin Lake North Campground is a small site next to Anglin Lake. It is open from May to Sept. and offers excellent camping, fishing, swimming, picnicking and hiking. The Spruce River Campground is also open during May to Sept. and is a simple and rustic campground in the jack pine forest.
