From mellow to adventurous, choose the experience that interests you. Spring, summer and fall, camp in the boreal forest, visit the Nature Centre or hike one of 21 trails.

Aromatic plants and wildflower scents fill the air in June during the migration of more than 200 songbirds. The abundance of lakes and rivers and three marinas invite guests to explore the waterways.

Take a tour, rent a boat, canoe, or kayak. It’s the best way to see elk, moose, and bears!

In summer you'll find the village of Waskesiu a-buzz with great shopping and a variety of restaurants and cafés all in close proximity to sandy beaches.

Explore the village on two wheels or on foot and try out some of the popular trails. In any season, Waskesiu is the perfect base from which to explore the park.

Only 90 km from Prince Albert, the park is open year-round with a variety of accommodation and dining options. Winter lets you unwind and ease into the peace and tranquility of the north. Play for the day or stay the night at one of the local accommodations and rest your head beneath the northern lights.
